Paper Pumpkin Alternative #4 August 2021

Here is my final Paper Pumpkin Alternative for August 2021 unless I come up with another one next week. I hope you have enjoyed the variety of cards that I made using this month's kit.

I used an embossing folder and a die on this card just to make it a little more interesting. This kit has some beautiful colors and was so much fun to work with. Please let me know if you are enjoying creating with this kit. Have fun stamping and have a blessed day!

Paper Pumpkin Alternative #3 - August 2021

To create this alternative, I cut one of the card bases in half. I used my blending brushes on the back half of the card (I got this idea from Chelsea Christensen), stamped the butterflies and flowers with Versa Mark ink, and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I cut that piece in half and then cut the pink card front in half. The end result gave me two cards instead of just one.

I also utilized the backs of the labels that were not in English. The sentiments fit perfectly on some of them. The Double Oval Punch worked great on the larger labels that were in the kit!

Have fun stamping and have a blessed day!

Paper Pumpkin Alternative #2 - August 2021

This alternative card was very simple and easy to make. You will need to cut apart your Brilliant Wings Dies in order to create this card. My husband cut mine apart using a pair of tin snips (he used to work in the sheet metal industry). I also cut apart my Butterfly Brilliance cling stamp set. I decided they were more useful to me as individual stamps and dies.

I cut apart one of the envelopes in the kit and used it as the background color behind the butterflies. If you cut a thin strip off of each end of the envelope and then open it up, you can use it like designer series paper. You could also just use the blending brushes and color a piece of basic white card stock.

Follow the link below to see a tutorial showing how I created this card. Also, there is a list of supplies and sizes below of the products I used. Have a blessed day and have fun stamping!

Hand-Penned Window Card

I finally have time to create cards again. My granddaughter, Jessica, married her best friend, Jeremy, on Saturday. What a beautiful wedding! We were busy all day with wedding preparations and then the outdoor reception.

I got this card layout idea from my upline, Brandy Cox. I loved the idea of using the window sheet to create this card. I love the Hand-Penned stamp set, dies, and designer series paper from Stampin' Up. Combining them with the Encircled in Friendship stamps and dies made this card so beautiful. Try changing the card using other Stampin' Up products and see what you can create. Have a blessed day and have fun stamping!

Batik Boutique Thank You Card

I thought it would be fun to try to make a mirror image card using the Batik Boutique Stamp Set and my Stamparatus. I decided it was much easier to create the card off camera, but I attempted to film it anyway. You will have to forgive me for not getting it lined up perfectly, but I think it will just take a bit more practice.

You can use any combination of colors and change the look by using some of the other flowers in the set. I will try to make some different cards using this set and post them here on my blog for you. Have fun stamping!

Designer Series Paper Birthday Cards

I decided to make these three birthday cards so you would have examples of three different styles of designer series paper. All of the basic pieces for each card are the same size, but using different papers and card stock.

I used various stamp sets, dies, embossing folders, and ribbons. My idea was to show you that you don't have to use the products I used to make this card. You can use whatever you have in your stash. I listed the instructions for the Pattern Party DSP card below. I have also included a link to my YouTube video explaining the other two cards. Have a blessed day and have fun stamping!
