Daffodil Afternoon Easter Blessings Card

 

I know that Easter isn't until April 17th this year, but I couldn't wait to make some cards to celebrate this very special day using the free paper I received for purchasing $50 in products.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I'm so sorry that I haven't posted anything for a while. I was super busy with the holidays and then we had no power for several days. To top it off, I fell last week and banged up my knee pretty bad. I have been icing it with bags of snow in an effort to get the swelling down. It is several lovely shades of purple, blue, and green and still swollen. I will try to get some videos posted soon, but it is hard for me to sit at my crafting table for very long. I like to keep my leg elevated whenever possible and I just don't have room at my table. Thank you so much for your understanding.

It is always sad when we need to create sympathy cards because it means someone dear to us has gone to be with the Lord. I am comforted to know that one day we will see them again, but that person will be missed by everyone still here.

Mini Paper Pumpkin Box Project

I decided it was time to use up some of the mini paper pumpkin boxes I purchased several months ago. I decorated this one with Tidings of Christmas DSP as well as red, green, and gold foils. Wow! I love the way it turned out. 

I then decided to fill it with some note cards that I decorated very simply with card stock, a bit of gold foil, gold embossing powder, and an embossing folder. I'm sorry that the embossing folder is retired, but am hoping that many of you still have it or one that will work for you.

Expressions In Ink Cards

I absolutely love this designer series paper and wanted to share some super easy cards with you today using it along with gold foil and ribbon. You can put any small sentiment in the center of this beautiful medallion. I added a small scallop to the bottom, an evening evergreen bow, and some rhinestones. I thought the end result was so beautiful, that I had to share it with you.
