Forever Greenery Sympathy Card

A good friend of mine passed away a few weeks ago. He loved the outdoors and had a wonderful sense of humor. I wanted to make a special sympathy card for his family so this is the design I came up with. The Forever Greenery DSP was perfect. I love the different shades of green combined with the gold.

It would also make a wonderful birthday card or thank you card for anyone who enjoys being outside. I hope you enjoy creating this card. Have a blessed day and have fun crafting!

Forever Greenery Dream-Catcher Card

If you are having trouble coming up with a card design, refer to your annual catalog and see what Stampin' Up is creating. I found the inspiration for this card on page 109. I changed the card size and the sentiment. I also put more detail in the Dream-Catcher. You can watch my YouTube video to see how I put this card together. Jar of Flowers Thank You

I had fun making these three cards. I started out with a Simple Card using just stamps, ink, paper, and a ribbon. I made the second card using the Jar Punch, water color pencils, and a water brush. For the third card, I added one of the Mason Jar Shaker Domes and fussy cut the flowers after I stamped and colored them. You could also use the Celebrate Sunflowers stamps and dies. Get creative and have fun stamping!

I thought it would be fun to make a simple card without using any Designer Series Paper. This rainbow colored card is what I came up with. Click on the link to see how I created it. I glued the colored card stock strips to a piece of Whisper White CS and then trimmed it to 3-5/8"x 2-1/4" so it would fit inside the ornate frame.
