Inspiring Iris Thanks Card

I don't know why I waited a year to purchase this particular stamp set, but I'm happy I finally added it to my collection. I decided to make the same card, but in different colors and I'm not sure which color I like the best. It was very easy to make and you can use any combination of colors. I included a link below to my YouTube video showing you how to make it.

I would love to have you as a customer or a team member. If you have any questions, please email me and I will be happy to answer them. Have a blessed day and have fun stamping.

New Wonders Thank You Cards

I thought it would be fun to feature the New Wonders host stamp set today. You can find this stamp set on page 207 of the 2019-2020 annual catalog. I used different Designer Series Papers to create these cards to give them each a unique look. It is an excellent way to use up some of your DSP that you have been hoarding. I used the Tropical Oasis DSP, Peaceful Poppies DSP, and Best Dressed DSP.  You can use this design with any DSP that you like and change the card stock and ribbon colors to coordinate with it.

Following is a list of the sizes so you can recreate this card:

Card Base - 8-1/2"x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
Whisper White for front panel - 5-3/8"x 4-1/8"
Whisper White for inside panel - 4-7/8"x 3-5/8"
Colored Card Stock - 4-5/8"x 3-3/8"
DSP for the top half of the card - 3-1/4"x 3"
DSP for the bottom half of the card - 3-1/4"x 1-1/2"
You will need a scrap of Whisper White card stock to stamp the sentiment and the girl.
Stamp the girl and the sentiment with Memento Black Ink and color them with Stampin' Blends.
I didn't do any shading when I colored them.
Use some ribbon that closely matches one of the colors in the DSP you are using.
I used the Brick & Mortar 3D embossing folder, but you can use any that look good to you.
I used the Smooth Sailing dies (149576) for the label.
Remember to stamp a sentiment on the inside of your card. The one I used was from the Floral Phrases Stamp Set that is retired.

Gratitude Card for a Man

I thought it was time to show you how to make thank you cards for the men in your life. I don't know about the rest of my stamping friends, but I have a hard time coming up with cards for men. You can replace the gratitude sentiment with Happy Birthday or Happy Father's Day. Let's use some of our retiring products and make some man cards! This one is really very easy to make. Have fun stamping and have a blessed day!

Circle in the Corner Card Layout

The card base for all three of these cards is 8-1/2"x 5-1/2" scored at 4-1/4". The mat is 5-3/8"x 4-1/8" for all three cards. You can pick your own colors and Designer Series Paper for each of them. The front layers are 5-1/4"x 2-1/2" and 5-1/4"x 1-1/2". You choose what size circles you want that will work for the embellishments or sentiments that you are going to use. Choose a ribbon or a narrow strip of card stock to cover the seam between the two top layers that matches one of the colors you are using. Trim the circles to fit in the corner of your card, add your sentiment and embellishments and you are done. Don't forget to add some bling! Please leave me a comment and let me know which card you like the best. If I get enough requests for a demonstration video, I will be more than happy to demonstrate this card on my YouTube Channel. Here is the link to further explanations on how I created these cards.
