Thank You Card - May 2020 International Blog Hop

I created this card using the Very Versailles stamp set and a free stamp set during Sale-A-Bration, Thoughtful Blooms. I was looking for a really small flower that I could stamp among the leaves and this was the only one I could find that I liked. The card base is Petal Pink card stock, 8-1/2”x 5-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”, the mat is Pear Pizzazz card stock, 5-1/4”x 4”, and the Whisper White card stock is 5-1/8”x 3-7/8”. I used Soft Suede ink, Petal Pink ink, and Pear Pizzazz ink. I used the 5/8" Organdy Striped Petal Pink ribbon for the bow and the Stitched So Sweetly dies to die cut the sentiment out of Whisper White card stock. The image fit perfectly in the center of the die! No fussy cutting on this card! Have a blessed day.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative #1 April 2020

I decided to make an alternative card using just the stamp set from the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin because I really like the sentiments it came with. I paired it with the Beautiful Moments stamp set and the Under My Umbrella Bundle. I thought they coordinated nicely with the sentiments. This card was super easy to make and turned out very cute. Parisian Blossoms Thank You Card

Today I wanted to make a card using a stamp set and die from the 2019-2020 annual catalog and pair it with something from the mini catalog. I chose a few items from the Parisian Blossoms Suite, A Big Thank You stamp set, and the Thank You die. I really like the way this card turned out. I think the only thing I will do when I make it again, is use the Subtle Embossing folder on the Pool Party card stock before I glue it to the black card stock. Positive Thoughts Cards

When I was watching Connie Stewart's YouTube video on How to Make a Card Full of Hope - Now, Wow, or Holy Cow, it inspired me to create a set of three cards. I went from simple stamping to adding some dimension to adding more dimension. I used the Positive Thoughts Stamp set and the coordinating dies, Nature's Thoughts, that were released during Sale-A-Bration. If you don't have these dies, the images are fairly easy to fussy cut out. I have listed the products below along with the card stock sizes. I didn't use any Designer Series Paper on these cards.

Noble Peacock Proud of You Card

It is time to start preparing graduation cards for 2020. Even though most of the schools probably won't have graduation ceremonies, it is very important that we recognize our graduating seniors. My granddaughter is graduating from high school this year with a 4-point plus grade point average and I am so very proud of her. She received an Air Force ROTC 4-year scholarship and other scholarships to help fund her college education. She has worked very hard and will accomplish great things in the future. I'm sure many of you also have seniors you wish to congratulate as well.
